Barbra holt simpson


BIOGRAPHY:


Born and raised in the central plains of Russell, Kansas, Barbra received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking at the University of Kansas. She married her college sweetheart, Jay, a graphic designer and cartoonist. While raising their two children, she completed a Master of Fine Arts Degree at Wichita State University before moving to California. 


Barbra lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband and daughter and works from her home studio.



Snowy Owl, written and illustrated by Barbra Holt Simpson is is a beautifully illustrated picture book read-aloud bedtime story.


Alphabet Animals, Amphibians, Birds, Reptiles, Endangered and Mythological Creatures is a book of rhymes and poems for children written for her grandson, Beau. He contributed two poems in the book, Rhinoceros Rap and M is for Monkey.
